This handy solar gadget charges up rechargeable batteries when left in sunlight. It also comes with a full set of charging jacks for common small electrical appliances like Nokia mobile phones, portable CD players, handheld electronic games etc.

* Recharges four D/C/AA or AAA size rechargeable NiCad or NiMH
(NOTE: you must have 4 batteries of the same size and brand; you cannot charge any other quantity)
* Blocking diode prevents reverse flow of power from batteries into panel at night
* Average charge time in full direct sunlight is 1-1.5 hours for 4 x 180mA AAA; 3-3.5 hours for 4 x 500mA AA batteries; 9-11 hours for 4 x 1500mA D size batteries.
